A 2007 short feature of an expedition to Belize with the Royal Botanical Gardens of Edinburgh.
After a week of training in 'baby jungle', the expedition involved two months living in hammocks in the secondary jungle of Central America. The team canoed, and waded up a remote river to locate a survey ground. Samples and studies were conducted to allow the monitoring of the forest.
During a ten-day trek the team moved through the dense jungle, via huge natural caverns and temple ruins lost in the forest.
